Blog

pm_god-blog
Since 2018 I consistently run my blog pm_god with great pleasure. I write about PM job: how to lead and nurture team, how to partner with stakeholders and customers, how to make your boss happy, etc.

The content is in Russian, though, you can use a translate if interested.

Highlights:

PM sovet

I lead the community of project managers PM sovet since 2022. This is a group in which we discuss real situations that happened to one of the participants. Once a week, we get together on zoom and immerse ourselves in the situation in detail, brainstorm ideas, and choose solutions. Case authors often participate, though bring some extra details, telling what they already tried and what was the result.

When worked at Oxagile, we had PMO meetings. Thanks to them, I grew noticeable as a manager in the first year. I saw how senior managers deal with complex customer issues, what they do when deadlines are burning and how they lead Jira. And I learned from their experience. PM sovet operates the same principle - we learn from each other. And only in practice, on real problems from real projects.

The community operates by subscription. At the end of 2023, it has 60 managers and 105 case studies (each has a record and abstract). Some are available in the free version. Sometimes we invite guests - experts in their field, for example, facilitation, systems design, Kanban.

Hire me

I like sharing my expertise and helping companies to set up efficient dev processes. These are tasks I can help your business with:

1. Find and fix bottlenecks in software development.

Here are the most common symptoms:

✖️ Team does not perform.

✖️ Tasks are not done on time, and release dates are failed.
✖️ You ask for one feature but receive a completely different thing.
✖️ Your company grew from 5 to 50 people in a short time and the old dev approach does not work well.
✖️ Feature development now takes way more time than it was earlier.
✖️ You tried to adopt Scrum, but it seems not to work properly, or the result does not match your expectations.

In 4-6 weeks I will find problems in any team. When the audit is done you'll get the list of the most impactful problems with the instruction to solve them.

Normally, companies hire me not only to find problems but also to solve them. As each team organism is individual there's no fixed price. Although you will see the results just in a few weeks.
